Here at de Winter we like to keep things fresh and are always on the look out for the latest trends - especially when it comes to the hot topic of social media.
It was revealed last week that popular blogging site Tumblr has reached a staggering 120 million users with over 15 billion page views every month.
So what is Tumblr? It’s is a micro-blogging site where you can share photos, videos, lengthy discussions or simple musings about life. The really interesting part of Tumblr is the ’reblog’ feature, which you can use to populate your blog with anything that takes your fancy from someone’s elses feed. Much like sharing on Facebook, or re-tweeting on Twitter, a blog post can reach millions and have a dramatic impact on your online presence.
Another key feature of Tumblr is the amount of themed blogs that have been set up. From the insane to the mundane, there’s a blog for everything. Highlights include: ridiculous headlines, inspirational quotes, creative inspiration, ‘The Fluffington Post‘…even Obama now has a Tumblr!
I would definitely recommend setting up a Tumblr, be careful though, it's seriously addictive!
